主讲人简介：
Cheng Tu,Ph. D. in applied mathematics, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, 1989;Postdoctoral study at Dept. of Bio-mathematical Sciences, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, City University of New York.
Work as a Research scientist on various projects concerning the mathematical modelling of cardiovascular system, flow disturbance through arterial stenosis, prediction of hemodynamic changes in foetal circulation and congenital heart diseases, prediction of three-dimensional structures of large biological molecules, the stability of blood flow, the movements of the eye, numerical methods for computation of flows with immersed elastic boundaries.
Published articles in well known journals such as Computers in Biology and Medicine. SIAM Journal on Scientific & Statistical Computing, Journal of Biomechanics, Journal of Computational Economics.
