会议背景介绍：

The Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAAV) will hold the 7th International Symposium on the Nutrition of Herbivores (ISNH-7), 17th to 22nd September 2007, Beijing , China . The above symposium is a series-symposium on the advances on the nutrition of herbivores in the world.

ISNH-7 is expected to be the most specialized international symposium in the herbivore nutrition for the year 2007 in China . We expect an attendance of more than 400 foreign and local participants and session topics cover: 1) areas of recent advances in herbivore nutrition and features of feed resources in Asian countries; 2) gastrointestinal microbial ecology in herbivores; 3) assimilation of carbohydrates and nitrogen in the herbivore intestine; 4) molecular advances in forage breeding and utilization; 5) gene expression and gene-nutrient interactions in herbivores; 6) stress factors associated with herbivores nutrition; 7) nutritional practice; 8) nutritional options to secure environmental and food safety based on intensive animal production systems. The symposium theme is “the herbivore nutrition associated with the development of efficient, safe and sustainable livestock production.”
