主讲人简介：Dr. Gang Bao is Robert A. Milton Chair Professor of Biomedical Engineering and a College of Engineering Distinguished Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University. He is Director of the NHLBI Program of Excellence in Nanotechnology at Emory University and Georgia Tech, and Director of the NIH Nanomedicine Development Center at Georgia Tech. Dr. Bao received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Shandong University in China, and his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Lehigh University. After a few years of postdoctoral work at Peking University and University of California, Santa Barbara, Dr. Bao became a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University in 1991. Dr. Bao came to Georgia Tech in the summer of 1999, joining the then newly established Department of  Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. He is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering.
